Software informer shows I have Adobe Reader 23.6 installed and suggests I should install 2021.001. According to Adobe, my installed version of 23.006.20380 is the latest version (released Nov 2023) whereas the last 2021.001 release (21.001.20155) was in May 2021. Why is Software informer recommending i revert to such an old version?
What am I doing wrong? I hate this new version. I don't like my files opening Chrome and every file I receive that are PDF's I can't import in my draw program like I could before this version.
I'm aware of your great programs because I was able to use one several years ago.
Please, advise me:
I seem to have an "Acrobat Reader DC" icon on my computer screen, but I haven't paid for it. I thought I had the free reader version. Because I found a problem reading some files that I'd saved long ago, I opened your website and realized the icon on my desktop was for a paid product. Now I have 2 problems:
1) I have been asked for a password to open some files and have no idea of what password I could have used.
2) What am I to do about maybe having used a paid product?
I don't save anything on my computer. I use external hard drives instead.
